We are huge fans of all things (slightly) geeky and nerdy, including graphic novels and cult cartoons, so anime is of course one of our passions. The series, whether superhero fantasy, dystopian or comedy anime, will either transport you into a whole new world or rip your heart to shreds. You’ll also enjoy these top anime shows of the 2022s.

These are the top anime shows of recent times

1. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

The Demon Slayer is a Japanese manga created by Koyoharu Gotouge. Its popularity has spread across the globe (not just in Asia) over several years. Demon Slayer, originally a Japanese manga by Koyoharu Touge, was made into an anime TV series in 2019. Demon Slayer’s exciting plot, which includes superpowers and revenge as well as intense battles, was a hit with a wide audience. Its sequel, Mugen Train (2020), was the most successful anime film in Japan. This beat out the likes of Spirited Away (2001), and Your Name (2016). Demon Slayer is available on Syncler apk to view online. The second season will premiere in 2021. You can watch the first season now on Animixplay(to know more about animixplay click here).

2. My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia can be a game-changer even for people who don’t usually get excited about superhero stuff. It has a lot of quirks. These superpowers make it possible to either be a Villain or a Hero in the future. Midoriya, who was once a person without quirks, changes after inheriting the quirk of the greatest Hero in the world and enrolling at a high-ranking Hero high school. Although it sounds cliché, the characters are so real and flawed that it is hard not to feel for them.

3. Tokyo Ghoul

Kaneki, after being bitten by a ghost, becomes a cannibalistic creature who struggles to find his place in society. He also discovers that many people who have the appearance of normal people are secretly ghouls. This anime is a great choice for fans of action and dark fantasy.

4. One-Punch Man

You are about to witness the (arguably) most powerful anime hero ever created: Saitama, also known by One-Punch Man. What is his superpower? It’s in his name. This man can beat any opponent with one punch. While the second season was often criticized for not meeting expectations, it is still worth seeing. As Saitama tries to find a worthy opponent in this universe, be prepared to be amazed and amused. Will he succeed? Listen to this video to see if he succeeds in his quest!

5. Parasyte

Parasyte, a science fiction horror manga series that was regarded as one of the most important, was soon adapted into an anime TV series. Shinichi is attacked by an extraterrestrial wormlike creature. After failing to defeat it, Shinichi’s right-hand transforms into a parasite with its own intelligence and personality. The government has done everything possible to eradicate parasites from the planet, but the series is a mockery of how selfish and selfish humanity is in today’s modern society.

6. Saiki K’s Disastrous Life

Saiki was born with psychic abilities such as telepathy or teleportation. All he wants is to be normal in high school and not get noticed. His classmates and his family are much more unusual (and cute in a funny way). Shuichi Aso illustrated the series and it’s hilarious!

7. Attack on Titan

Attack on Titan is a must-see for fans of action, fantasy, and dystopian fiction. The Series is set in a post-apocalyptic setting and depicts the ongoing conflict between humans (Titans) and man-eating giants. It is available on Syncler apk to watch online.

While huge walls separate the two communities from one another, Survey Corps is an elite group of soldiers known for exploring the outside world to defeat Titans and learn more about the area beyond their village. Although the battles of Attack on Titan are brutal and intense, they are still beautifully animated. You will also grow to like Eren Yeager, the protagonist.

8. Psycho-Pass

Psycho-Pass is a great anime for those who love dystopian novels such as Orwell’s 1984. Police officers are instructed to remove those who have been involved in thoughtcrime while citizens are measured using a Crime Coefficient Index. This depicts a world in which people must give up their rights to be human in order to survive in peaceful societies. It is quite hard-hitting.

9. Haikyu!!

He is small but powerful. This story is about a small boy who dreams of becoming a top volleyball player, despite his diminutive stature. Follow him as he overcomes obstacles such as creating a volleyball team at school and playing against other great teams. Haikyu is often praised for its character development, its focus on friendship, and sportsmanship. You will feel inspired, motivated, and even want to learn volleyball!

10. Violet Evergarden

Violet Evergarden is an anime that will make you cry with its beautifully-written episodes and beautiful animation. It is about Violet Evergarden, a former soldier and stone-cold killer who learns to understand human emotions after she was employed as an “Auto Memory Doll” to draft letters for local residents. It’s fascinating because we are taking small steps to recognize human emotions as we go through what Evergarden goes through.

11. Back Street Girls

Are you looking for a great joke? Back Street Girls has the most absurd plot. After making a mistake while working for the Japanese mafia, three Yakuza men are sent to Thailand to undergo sex reassignment surgeries. They are then told that they must endure insufferable training to be the most famous idols of the gang. It’s actually funny and lighthearted despite its terrible-sounding plot.

12. Bungo Stray Dogs

Bungo Stray Dogs is about the lives of the Armed Detective Agency, the Port Mafia, and their super-powered personalities. It’s because most characters are named after Japanese authors or characters from their most famous works. This makes the show extremely captivating.
